Subscription Update Obituary

     Bernice M. (Fagerquist) Gilman, 87, passed away peacefully on September 5,2015.

She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Earl Gilman, in 2007. Bernice leaves her sons Scott of TN and Steven of Worcester; her brother Ken Fagerquist of Springfield; a brother-in-law Charles Gilman of Worcester and a sister-in-law Barbara Buteau of North Brookfield.

She was born in Worcester the daughter of Albin & Cecelia (Lamoureaux) Fagerquist and lived many years in Worcester before moving to Brookfield. She worked for many years at US Envelope, Travelers Insurance Co. in administration and later Caravan Coffee Co. until she retired.

Bernice enjoyed gardening, flowers , animals and she loved music. She was a member of the National Alliance for Mental Illness.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 11:00AM in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Alliance for Mental Illness Alliance 3803 N. Fairfax Dr. Suite 100 Arlington, VA 22203 Pillsbury Funeral Home 44 Gilbert St. North Brookfield is directing arrangements.
