Barbara J. (Bradish) Whitson, 80, of Worcester died Friday, August 13th at home. She is survived by three sons, Ivan L. Whitson of Worcester, Kevin T. Whitson of Alexandria VA, and Brian K. Whitson of Gilbert, AZ; two grandchildren, Brendon and Erin Whitson. She was predeceased by her sister, Beverly Preston.

Barbara was born in Worcester the daughter of Elliott and Blanche (Floyd) Whitson and was a graduate of Worcester Girls Trade High School. She had been employed as a printer for the former Paul Revere Life Insurance Company, retiring as the print department supervisor. Earlier in life she was an avid painter and later enjoyed gardening. Her greatest joy was time spent with her family.

Her funeral is Friday, August 20th with a service at 1:00 p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Friday from Noon until the time of the service in the funeral home.
