Barbara L. (Platts) Kirk, 77, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012. Barbara leaves her husband of 53 years, Westell C. Kirk; three children, Robert W. Kirk of Princeton, Richard C. Kirk and his wife Pam of Worcester and Debra L. Falkingren and her husband Craig of Auburn; five grandchildren, Jaclyn, Tori, Laura, Kristen and Katie and her brother, Carl Platts of Holden.
Barbara was born in Worcester the daughter of Alfred and Grace (Lindberg) Platts and graduated from Commerce High School. Barbara was a member of Quinsigamond United Methodist Church and SAC Park.
     A visiting hour for Barbara will be held on Thursday, October 11 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m with a funeral service to take place at 11:00 a.m in LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St. Interment will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association , 480 Pleasant Street Watertown, MA 02472.
