Subscription Update Obituary

     Arthur S. “Sonny” Berryman Jr. of Worcester died peacefully Thursday February 15, 2018 in Care One of Millbury. Arthur is survived by his wife Lorraine (Forget) Menzone- Berryman, a daughter Lori Kelley of Oxford, a grandson Justin Kelley, two stepsons Thomas and Michael Menzone and step grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, and Ashley, he also leaves 3 great grandchildren Isabella, Brooklyn, and Elyse. Arthur also leaves several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Patricia Owens, and Linda Soucie.

Arthur was born in Worcester son of the late Arthur S. Berryman Sr and Allie (Nelson) Berryman. He was a graduate of Commerce High School. Arthur served his country proudly in the United States Navy, serving on the U.S.S. Philippine Sea during the Korean War. Among his awards he received the Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Ribbon. Arthur worked at the Wyman Gordon Plant in Grafton where he was a Foreman before he retired in 1991. He was a longtime member of the Greendale Retired Men’s Club.

Arthur was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling, and being with his family, he will be sadly missed by his family and friends. His family would like to thank the entire staff at Care One of Millbury for their kindness and compassion, it is truly appreciated.

Arthur’s calling hours will be held on Monday February 19 from 4PM to 7PM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Funeral services and interment will be held at the family’s convenience. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Care One of Millbury, Activities Fund 312 Millbury Ave Millbury, MA. 01527, or the Massachusetts Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Rd. Waltham, MA. 02452.
