Subscription Update Obituary

     Arline L. (Jolly) Carnevale, 90 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 7, 2018 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family.

Arline was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Armand G. and Clara (Guertin) Jolly and graduated from Classical High School.  Arline worked as a supervisor at Friendly’s on Park Ave in Worcester for over 20 years before she retired.  She was a member of St. Peter’s Church.  Arline loved bingo and you could always count on her being at any church bingo.  She also enjoyed bus trips, the casino, going to the beach and was an avid New England sports fan.

Arline is survived by her husband of 70 years, Anthony L. Carnevale; her two sons, Gary A. Carnevale and his life partner, Lesa Patrock of Dudley and James Carnevale and his husband Robert Ochoa of Worcester; two grandchildren, Stephanie Carnevale and Ashley Carnevale and her fiancé Sebastian Mroczka all of Webster; a nephew, Donald Jolly of Sutton.  She is predeceased by two brothers, Alfred and Alve Jolly.

Services for Arline will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 am in St. Andrew the Apostle Mission Church, 5 Spaulding St., Worcester.  Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.  A period of calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 10th from 4-7 pm in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: VNA Care Hospice, Fund Development Office, 199 Rosewood Drive, Suite 180, Danvers, MA 01923.
