Subscription Update Obituary

     Anna (Ciccarelli) Valeri, passed away peacefully, just shy of her ninety-ninth birthday, on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, in Beaumont at The Willows in Westborough. Her loving husband in sixty-five years, Ernest Valeri, predeceased her in May 2002.

Anna is survived by her loving family, a daughter, Elizabeth A. Wilder of Shrewsbury; a son in law, Steven Takacs of Charlton; a sister, Mary Coviello; four adored grandchildren, Sherri Crawford and her husband Darren, Gregory Takacs, Beth Takacs, and David Wilder and his wife Rosemarie; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia A. Takacs; and by a brother and four sisters, Anthony Ciccarelli, Theresa Meleski, Carmella Beressi, Eleanor Johns, and Josephine Ciccarelli. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Joseph and Antoinette (DeNapoli) Ciccarelli, and has lived here all her life.

Anna was a member of Lakeview Congregational Church. She enjoyed gardening and being with her family. Anna found that the love and closeness of her family is what sustained her throughout her life.

Calling hours for Anna will be held on Wednesday, November 5, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.

Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, November 6, at 10 a.m. in Lakeview Congregational Church, 115 Coburn Avenue, Worcester. Entombment will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
