Subscription Update Obituary

     Anna R. Whitney, 81 of Worcester died peacefully Friday April 27, 2018 in the UMASS Medical Center. Her husband Ronald K. Whitney died in 2002. Anna is survived by three sons Louis Whitney and his spouse Michael of N.Y., Michael Whitney and his wife Kimberly of Oregon, Scott Whitney and his wife Pamela of Worcester, a daughter Sherry Whitney of Worcester, and 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter Kimberly Crue in 2015.

Anna was born in Worcester daughter of the late Louis H. and Rose M. (Telese) Paquette and has lived here all her life. She was a graduate of Commerce High School and Salter Secretarial College.  Anna enjoyed being a home maker and was a communicant of the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann. She loved to travel and was an avid Movie Buff and was a whiz at Trivia. For many years she attended Summit Eldercare and participated in all of their social activities. She was most happy when she was with her family and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Services for Anna were held privately. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. assisted Anna’s Family with arrangements. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
