Subscription Update Obituary

     Anna B. (Keyes) Day 78, of Irving St., died Thursday, Sept. 22 at her home following a long illness.

She leaves her husband of 38 years, Stephen A. Day, her brothers William, David, Charles and Gary Keyes all of Spencer, Stanley Keyes of Princeton and Richard Keyes of Dudley, her sisters Gloria Vincovitch of E.Brookfield and Diane Laythe of Spencer, many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by brothers Robert, Leonard and James Keyes, and sisters Marjorie Stevens, Carol Lesiak, Evelyn Shorette, Susan St.Germain and Roseann Thibeault.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of James and Anna (Derosier) Keyes.

Anna was a longtime nurse’s aide at the Masonic Home in Charlton and Rutland Heights Hospital before retiring in 1986.

The family would like to thank Summit Elder Care and VNA of Southern Mass for the compassionate care of Anna during her illness.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, Sept. 26 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Sunday, Sept. 25 from 3 to 5 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association of Central Mass., 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA., 02472.
