Subscription Update Obituary

     Ann R. (Brown) Brunelle, 93, formerly of Paxton, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Notre Dame Long Term Care Center, Worcester, where she has been so lovingly cared for over the last several years.

Ann was born in Grafton, daughter of the late Frederick C. and Blanche V. (Dalbec) Brown and graduated from Auburn High School. She lived in Paxton for more than 30 years before moving to the Notre Dame. Ann worked as an information operator for New England Telephone before retiring. A faith-filled woman, Ann was a devout Catholic and a former member of Saint Columba Parish in Paxton. She was also dedicated to caring for her family.

For 52 years Ann was the beloved wife of Robert V. Brunelle who died in 1996. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Joan T. Clifford in 2007. She leaves her four children, Robert D. Brunelle and his wife, Carolyn of Bolton, Judith A. (Gahan) Spaulding of Millbury, Susan G. Walker of Nashua, NH and Anne M. Flanagan of Worcester; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; many nephews and nieces. She was also was predeceased by her 11 brothers and sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Ann’s family on Wednesday, April 29, from 5-7 p.m. at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Her funeral will be celebrated on Thursday, April 30 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Notre Dame du Lac, 555 Plantation Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Advancement Office, Notre Dame Health Care Center, Attn: Long Term Care, 555 Plantation Street, Worcester, MA 01605.
