Subscription Update Obituary

     Ann C. (Gosselin) Raymond, 81 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Beaumont Skilled Nursing Center surrounded by her loving family.

Ann is survived by her best friend and loving companion of 45 years, John M. “Jesse” Noonan; two sons, David E. Bedard, his wife Linda of Dudley, George P. Raymond, Jr. his wife Lynette of Princeton; her daughter, Maria Donovan, her husband Jon of Oxford; eight beloved grandchildren, Tiffany, Lauren, Noelle, Timothy, Joshua, Sarah, Ryan and Rylee; three great grandchildren, Matthew, Hailey and Hannah; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter, Cheryl A. Raymond and her son, Gary E. Bedard; six brothers, Joseph, Edward, Archie, Robert, Adrian and Ronald Gosselin; three sisters, Marie Chabot, Evelyn Parker and Alice Markarian.

Ann was born in Worcester, to the late Joseph A. and Aileen J. (LeHane) Gosselin. She attended Worcester Girls Trade and lived here all her life. Ann worked for 25 years as a waitress at Dunkin Donuts on Lincoln Street and retired in the summer of 2014. She was a member of Saint Joan of Arc Church, loved Boston sports teams especially the Red Sox and the New England Patriots, and enjoyed occasional trips to the casino. Her greatest enjoyment was her times spent with Jesse, her children and grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 3rd from 4-7 pm the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. A Mass will be held on Thursday, February 4th at 10:30 am at Saint Joan of Arc Church, 530 Lincoln St., Worcester. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Ann can be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
