Subscription Update Obituary

     Angelina M. (Marotta) DiPilato, 89, of Worcester, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, a month shy of her 90th birthday, in the Beaumont at University Campus of Worcester.

She leaves two daughters Roseann Rosales in Florida, and Theresa Casavant in Maine; a son, Albert DiPilato of N. Brookfield; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, including Denise Groccia of Worcester, her personal caregiver, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister, Angelo and Raymond Marotta and Theresa Groccia. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Louis and Antoinette (Dinino) Marotta, and has lived here all her life.

Angelina retired from the College of the Holy Cross working in the housekeeping department. She was a long-time member of Sacred Heart-Saint Catherine of Sweden Parish in Worcester. She enjoyed cookouts and the holidays with her nieces and nephews, socializing with her friends and acquaintances and she loved playing BINGO.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Beaumont at University Campus of Worcester, for their kindness and dedication to Angelina. They are also grateful to Angelina’s roommate Antoinette Smith for her constant friendship.

Calling Hours will be on Tuesday morning, November 13, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart-Saint Catherine of Sweden Church, 600 Cambridge Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
