Subscription Update Obituary

     Amanda Marie (Dubeau) Pineiro, 38, died Monday, December 28, 2015, after a courageous battle with AML Leukemia. She leaves her husband of eleven years, Andres “Eddie” Pineiro; sons, Jacob Dubeau and Gregory Pineiro; daughter, Shaylynn Pineiro; father, Robert Dubeau; brother, Jeffrey Dubeau and his wife Lauren; sister, Amy (Dubeau) Marrier; nephews, Max and Jack Dubeau and Joshua Marrier; and nieces Abigaile and Grace Marrier. She was predeceased by her mother, Janet (Lundgren) Dubeau, and her brother-in-law, Raymond Marrier.

Amanda was born in Worcester. Following graduation from Burncoat High School, she began working full time in her 24-year career at Jan’s Kitchen where she eventually became the cook, manager, and co-owner. She also enjoyed her dog – Mason, family cruises, cooking, and camping at Salisbury Beach.

Mandy’s family extends their thanks to all the loyal customers and friends at Jan’s Kitchen and the UMass staff of the ICU 3 & 7 and Bone Marrow Unit.

Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street on Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 4-7pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 4, at 11am. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Amanda’s Children’s Education Fund c/o Jayme Burdett at BayState Savings Bank 378 Burncoat St. Worcester, MA 01606.
