Subscription Update Obituary

      Alice T. (Levesauskas) O’Leary, 84, of Auburn died Thursday, April 26th in Holden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of 25 years, Michael F. O’Leary, Jr. died in 1980. She leaves two sons, Patrick M. O’Leary and his wife, Mary Roughan of Worcester and Larry Stalmok and his wife, Janice of Paxton; four daughters, Peggy Roche and her husband, Mark of Auburn, Jane McGrath and her husband, Jay of Paxton, Ann Hehir of Auburn and Betty O’Leary of Worcester; a sister, Mary Bragdon of El Monte, CA; two sisters in law, Mary Erickson of Auburn and Joyce O’Leary of Worcester; 13 grandchildren; four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Alice also leaves her ATO friends from Oriol Healthcare. She was predeceased by a son, Michael F. O’Leary, III; a daughter, Katie O’Leary-Rubio; sister, Frances E. Morgan and a half-brother, Samuel Levesauskas.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Samuel J. and Mary (Yankowski) Levesauskas. Alice was a member of the former St. Margaret Mary Church. She worked as homemaker, book binder for Omni Resource and as a clerk at Fairlawn Liquors . She enjoyed vacationing at Old Orchard Beach, playing bingo, watching the Game Show Network, singing and listening to music. Alice’s favorite pastime was the time she spent with her grandchildren.
The family would like to thank her grandson, Michael Harney, Jr. for the compassion and care he offered his grandmother over the last three years.
Her funeral is Tuesday, May 1st from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 12:00 PM in St. Anne’s Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, May 1st from 9:15 until 11:15 AM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
