Subscription Update Obituary

     Mrs. Alice M. (Lestha) Boutilette, 87, passed away Tuesday March 29th at UMass Hospital.

Alice was born March 4, 1929 in Worcester, Massachusetts a daughter of the late William and Rosanna (Fortier) Gaglaistro. Loving wife to the late Robert J. Boutilette Sr.

Alice was educated through the Worcester schools. She first began work at O’Briens dinner in Worcester as a waitress where she met her husband Robert. She later went on to work at Grant’s Dept. Store in retail sales, in the Oxford School cafeteria, Toys R Us in Auburn, and most recently at the Grafton Greenhouse in customer service until her retirement.

She was parishioner of St Roch’s Church in Oxford,MA. She attended the Accord Adult Day Center in Webster where she made many friends. Alice was an avid bowler, card player and enjoyed reading.

Alice is survived by her sons, Lt. Robert J. Boutilette Jr. and his wife Ann of Charlton, Patrick Boutilette and his wife Emily of Oxford; two daughters, Patricia Boutilette, Donmarie Boutilette Smith both of Oxford; a brother, Donald Lestha and his wife Dorothea of Charlton; 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Her funeral will take place on Tuesday April 5th at FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, 9 Branch St Worcester. A funeral mass will follow at St Roch’s Church, Oxford at 10:00am. Interment will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be Monday April 4th from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, memorial donations may be made in her memory to Autism Resource Center of Central Mass, 71 Sterling St. West Boylston, MA. 01853.
