Aldo D. Ruggieri, 79, of Worcester, passed away Tuesday, September 30th, 2008 in Saint Vincent Hospital. He leaves his devoted wife and partner of 52 years, Albertine M. (Jolicoeur) Ruggieri; his two sons, Donald and Robert Ruggieri of Worcester; two brothers, Maurice Ruggieri of Shrewsbury, and Daniel Ruggieri of Worcester; a sister Cecilia Charamella of Worcester; many nieces and nephews. Aldo was born in Worcester, son of Domenic and Josephine (Martucci) Ruggieri . He graduated from Worcester Boy’s Trade School and has lived here all his life. Mr. Ruggieri was a plumbing engineer at Tucker Rice Company for more than twenty two years, before becoming self employed. He was a member of Plumbers & Pipefitters Local #4, Preservation Worcester and Worcester Vocational School Advisory Committee. He also taught plumbing for the city of Worcester Nightlife Program. . A funeral mass will be held Friday, October 3rd at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Anne’s Church, 130 Boston Tpke. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Worcester County Memorial Park. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Anne Human Services, 130 Boston Tpke, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
