Subscription Update Obituary

     Albert E. Huard, 82, of 126 Main St., died Saturday, Dec. 9 in Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge after a brief illness.

He leaves his longtime companion, Judith A. Farrell of Spencer, his daughter Suzanne A. Pervier and her husband James of Spencer, his 6 sons Roland A. Huard and his wife Pamela of Spencer, Eli A. Huard of E.Brookfield, Rene G. Huard and his wife Carla of Barre, Leo R. Huard and his wife Alice of Sympsonville, SC., Donald R. Huard of No.Brookfield and John P. Huard and his wife Molly of Spencer, his brother Robert E. Huard and sister Lorraine St. Martin both of Spencer, 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and his dog “Benji”. He is predeceased by a brother Aldore Huard in 2013 and his former wife Lorraine R. (St. Martin) Huard in 2011.

Al was owner/operator of Al Huard & Son Rubbish Co. for many years before retiring. He later enjoyed going to Flea Markets, Karaoke, bingo and repairing odd things. He loved dancing and in his younger days, camping.

Born in Worcester, he was the son of Edgar N. and Annie V. (Demers) Huard.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 12 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mary, Queen of the Rosary Food Pantry, 60 Maple St., Spencer, MA. 01562.
