Richard A. Coffin, 66, of Uxbridge died Wed. Oct. 30, 2013 at the Milford Regional Medical Center, Milford. He was the husband of Audy M. (Giard) Coffin.

     Mr. Coffin was employed as an Orthotic Technician for Prosthetic Orthotic Labs in Worcester for more than 20 years before his retirement.

     Richard was born Feb. 9, 1947 in Cambridge the son of the late Ben Howard and Evelina (Goneau) Coffin and was a graduate of Newton Vocational High School, Newton.

     Mr. & Mrs. Coffin observed their 31st wedding anniversary on October 15, 2013.

     Richard loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and enjoyed many happy times hunting and fishing. He was also a life member of the NRA.

     In addition to his wife Audy, he is survived by his brother, Howard and his wife Virginia Coffin of Marblehead and his sister Mary Ellen and her husband Thomas Brennan of Mashpee. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law William, Keith, Arthur and David Giard, his sister-in-law, Lois Moores, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends, including his “three amigos” Bob Conner, Kent Vienneau and John Carter.

     Visiting hours will be Mon. Nov. 4, 2013 from 4 – 8 PM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 N. Main St., Rte. 122, Uxbridge.

     Funeral services will be Tues. Nov. 5, 2013 at 10 AM from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Mary’s Church, 71 Mendon St., Rte 16, Uxbridge.
