Subscription Update Obituary

     Louise M. (Moore) Blouin, 93, of Holden, died Monday, November 18, 2013 in the Worcester Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

     She leaves her husband of 58 years, Clifford J. Blouin; a step-grandson, Philip Greene, two step-great-granddaughters, Ashton Mohan and Lexi Roberts, all of Florida; her sister Jean Murphy of Worcester, and many nieces and nephews.

     She was predeceased by her daughter, Anne E. Blouin, her step-daughter, Shirley Schofield, her step-granddaughter, Shelley Bell, her brothers, Paul F., Francis P., Richard F. and C. Robert Henrickson and her sisters, Julia M. Cronin, Elizabeth M. Clayborne and Helen M. Lawson.

     Louise was born in Boston, daughter of Flurence and Anna (Conway) Moore. She was raised in Worcester by Gustaf and Elizabeth Henrickson.

     Louise attended Commerce High School and was a veteran of World War II serving in the Woman’s Army Corps.

     Louise worked at the Norton Company for many years. She later worked at WPI’s Alden Laboratory in Holden, before retiring.

     She was a member of St. George’s Church.

     Calling hours are Tuesday, November 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 20 from the funeral home with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. George’s Church, 38 Brattle St., Worcester.

     Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
