Subscription Update Obituary

    William R. Gray, 71, of Hilton Head Island, SC died August 16th at the Hilton Head Hospital. He was the husband of the late Theresa N. (Nobrega) Gray who died in 1998.

    He was born on March 14, 1938 in Northbridge, MA and was the son of the late Marie L. Smith Gray and William Gray. He moved to Hilton Head Island in 1993 from Worcester, MA.

    Mr. Gray grew up in Uxbridge, MA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Korea and France. He was an offset pressman and at the time of his retirement he was an offset press technician with A-B Dick Co. of Worcester, MA.

    He is survived by three sons, Sung W. Gray and Jeffrey A. Gray both of Uxbridge, Kevin E. Gray of Whitinsville, MA; two daughters, Stephanie N. Hughes and Carrie J. Gray both of Whitinsville; a step son, Thomas P. St. Hilaire of Worcester; three step daughters, Patricia Daly, Nancy St. Pierre both of Worcester and Diane Guilo of Auburn, MA as well as three brothers, Charles D. Gray of MA., Bradford M. Gray and Douglas D. Gray both of Hilton Head Island, SC.

    Graveside funeral services will be Monday Aug. 24, 2009 at 11 AM at Veteran's Memorial Garden, Worcester County Memorial Park, Richards Ave., Paxton, MA. 01612. Visitation will be held on Sunday Aug. 23, 2009 from 3-5 PM at BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 480 Church Street, Whitinsville, MA 01588.
