Subscription Update Obituary

     William O. Skaw, 43, of Brookfield and formerly of Millbury, died Saturday, March 16, 2013 at his home.
     He leaves his mother, Patricia A. (Greenleaf) Skaw, a sister, Patricia E. Kachadoorian and her husband Adam, all of North Brookfield; a brother Nathan Skaw of Minnesota and an uncle, Philip Greenleaf II and his wife Gail, and two cousins, Shawn and Aaron Greenleaf. He was predeceased by his father, Ronald Skaw.
     Bill was born in Worcester and grew up in Millbury. He attended Millbury High School.
He was a driveline technician for many years with FleetPride, a truck servicing company in Worcester. Previously, he worked for Dario Diesel Co., also in Worcester.
     Bill had many interests. He enjoyed ice fishing, computer games, the Patriots and his best buddy, his dog Maisy. He loved music, especially listening to the live music of his friends’ bands.
     Bill was devoted to his family. He had huge heart and a generous spirit that will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
     Calling hours at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, are Thursday, March 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be Friday, March 22 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
     In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 72 Cambridge St., Worcester, MA 01603 or to CrossRoads Community Church, 839 Ashby State Road, Fitchburg, MA 01420.
