Subscription Update Obituary

     William J. “Pop” Morin, 78, died surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013. He leaves 5 children, Donna DeFazio, Michele Gordon and her husband James, Darlene A. Gary and her husband Jan, James DeFazio and his wife Cathy, and Lisa Skillern and her husband James; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; a brother Arthur Morin; and a sister Madeline Cote. He was predeceased by his wife Doris M. (Paille) Morin.
     “Pop” as he was affectionately known, was born in Ware, son of Arthur and Clara (Miller) Morin. He was a truck driver for many years in the construction industry. Pop enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the light of his life, his great-granddaughter, Emma Grace, with whom he lived.
     Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester on Thursday, October 10, from 6-8 pm. A graveside service will be held at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton on Friday, Oct. 11, at 10 a.m.
