Subscription Update Obituary

     William H. Grundstrom, 86, of High St., died peacefully at his home on Saturday, Dec. 15th.
He leaves his wife Arlene R. (St.Laurent) Grundstrom, his daughter Jodi D. Sweeney and her husband Carl of Southbridge, his son William K. Grundstrom of Florence, grandchildren; Kyle Pelletier, Kirsti, Heather and Nicolas Sweeney, four great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by brothers Herbert and Kenneth Grundstrom and a sister Gertrude Johnson.
Bill was a longtime machinist and scheduler at Wyman Gordon Co. in Worcester and Grafton for over 45 years before retiring.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Carl W. and Gertrude V. (Thunberg) Grundstrom, graduated from Commerce High School and later served his country with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Bill was an avid bowler and golfer, playing in several area leagues. He was a proud New England Sports Fan.
Private services with Military Honors will be held in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Veterans Inc., 69 Grove St., Worcester 01605. J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer is directing arrangements for the family.
