Wilbrod E. Rioux Jr., 65 of 23 Forbes St. a retired business co-owner died Wednesday January 17, at home after a brief illness.


  He leaves his wife of 46 years, Lorraine M. (Dubois) Rioux; six daughters, Sandra J. O’Brien, Denise E. Zuschlag, Susan M. Coughlin, and Diane M. McNamara, all of Worcester, Karen A. Wilson of Ruland and Kimberley C. Hilow of Philadelphia, N.Y.; a brother, Gerald Rioux of Fall River; two sisters, Florence Brodeur and Carmen Ponte, both of Tiverton, R.I.; 17 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; nephews and neices. He was born in Fall River, son of Wilbrod E. Sr. and Yvonne (Pinneau) Rioux, and lived in Concord N.H., before moving to Worcester in 1967.. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.


  Mr. Rioux co-owned D&D Video for 15 years, retiring in 1997. He was a member of St. Bernard’s Church.


  The Funeral service will be private. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to UMass Memorial Foundation, Hospice Program, 16 Shaffner St., Worcester, MA. 01605. Kelly Funeral Home, 154 Lincoln St., is directing arrangements.
