hi daddy, it's been 5 days since we burried you and it still dont seem like it's true that your gone. i spend most of my time just thinking and crying as well as missing you. i know i feel lost and i know all the rest of the kids feel the same way but it's laurie that i think about alot and worry about as she is so broken hearted and lost but i promise you i will help take care of her. as much as it hurts me that your gone i just wonder what it is i should do next i dont know. i promised you i would take care of myself and im trying to just isnt easy. it's kinda funny but i always thought you and mom would always be around and then you pass and open my eyes to the fact that it isnt true. i guess all kids feel that way because our parents are always so strong for us kids that we think nothing could ever happen to them and it hurts a lot. im just so glad your not suffering anymore and your at peace and we all know you certainly have earned your wings and deserve them. promise me you will watch over us all ok? i think all of us are gonna need that for a very long time.im watching for that red rose you promised to send me and i know it will come soon. thanks for all the memories and love you gave to all of us we will cherish every moment as well as every talk we have ever had with you. love you always ! your daughter nannette oxoxoxoxoxox

Hi my precious, sweet Pops, I will always remember all the good times you, Ma and I shared. The wonderful memories of your smile and your jolliness. You were the best Pops.
