Subscription Update Obituary

   Vivian V. (Parks-Hendrickson) Eaton, 81, died on Thursday, August 7, 2008, at the Sterling Healthcare Center, after a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of more than forty years, Edward W. Eaton, who died in 1989.

   She is survived by two sons, Guy E. Eaton and his wife Pamela, and Edward D. Eaton and his wife Elaine, all of Clinton; twenty one grandchildren, thirty five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two daughters, Wendy Normandi and Penelope Cox, and a grandson, Stephen Martin.

   Vivian was born in Worcester to the late Dwight W. and Sadie Z. (Davis) Parks. She was raised in Boylston and attended local schools. Primarily a homemaker, Vivian was a devoted wife and mother who dedicated most time to her family and church. She served as a devout member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Burncoat Congregation in Worcester for many years.  She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure to have known her.

   A funeral service is to be held on Monday, August 11, 2008 at 11AM in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 659 Franklin St., Worcester. Burial will follow at the Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. A calling hour will be held in the Kingdom Hall prior to services on Monday from 10 until 11AM. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton.
