Subscription Update Obituary

    Virginia F. (Grenon) Hulten, age 87, formerly of Shady Lane, died Thursday, December 23, 2010, at Oakwood Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Webster.

    Her husband, Edward J. Hulten Sr., died October 5, 1992.  She leaves two sons, Edward J. Hulten Jr. of Charlton and Bruce W. Hulten of Webster; a daughter, Carol L. Taylor of Yarmouthport, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara A. Peckham on February 12, 2010 and by her brother, Wilfred Grenon and her sisters, Rosalie Scott, Barbara Schnare, Majorie Knight and Marie Flynn.

     She was born in Avon, MA, daughter of the late Wilfred and Marie (Judice) Grenon and lived in Oxford most of her life.   

    Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at 1:00 pm in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.  There are no calling hours. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is directing arrangements.
