Virginia C. Zakarian, 92, died Friday, June 10, 2011 at the Jewish Healthcare Center. She leaves a niece, several nephews and their families. She was predeceased by two sisters Anna Zakarian and Roxie (Zakarian) Orent and two brothers Simon and George Zakarian.

Virginia was born in Worcester, the daughter of Hachador and Azniv (Kachadorian) Zakarian. She graduated from Commerce High School and Louis Bregou Beauty School. She was the owner, operator of Virginia’s Beauty Salon for over 40 years. She was a life long member of the Armenian Church of Our Saviour. Virginia’s family extends their appreciation to the staff at the Eisenberg Assisted Living, where she resided as well as the staff at the Jewish Healthcare Center.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 with a calling hour from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester and an 11:00 a.m. funeral service at the Armenian Church of Our Saviour. Burial will follow in the Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
