Subscription Update Obituary

   Thomas S. Pajala 

   Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Thomas and Mary (Waska) Pajala. He was a graduate of Auburn High School and also graduated from Worcester Industrial Technical School.

   Mr. Pajala was employed as a tool designer for Olson Manufacturing in Worcester, prior to his retirement.

   Tom had a passion for photography, painting, biking, gardening and all types of fishing.

   In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: Thomas Pajala of Marlboro and Ryan Pajala and his wife, Dawn, and their sons, Daniel and Joseph of Grafton. He also had a son, Matthew, who predeceased him in 1990; two stepsons: Richard Garrepy of North Grafton and Brian Garrepy of Boston; one sister, Irene Gravel of Millbury and two step-grandchildren.

   His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 12, at 11:00 A.M. in St. Rose of Lima Church, 244 Main St., Northborough. Interment in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Lung Association, 35 Harvard Street, Worcester, MA 01609. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough.
