Subscription Update Obituary

   Thomas N. McIlwaine, 80, passed away Saturday, November 29, after a brief illness.

   He leaves his wife of 35 years, Winifred (Spencer) McIlwaine; three children, Bruce McIlwaine of West Yarmouth, Heather of West Yarmouth and Amy Therrien of Worcester. He also leaves eight grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

   He was born in County Down, Northern Ireland, the son of Francis and Mary (Nesbitt) McIlwaine and came to America in 1949. He attended Becker Junior College and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. McIlwaine worked as an Insurance Underwriter for Paul Revere Insurance Company before retiring.

   The funeral and burial services will be private. Memorial contributions in Mr. McIlwaine's name may be made to The UMass Memorial Hospice, 650 Lincoln St., Worcester, MA 01605. Arrangements are under the care of LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St.
