Subscription Update Obituary

     Therese R. Gagnon, 81, of Old Southbridge Road, died Tuesday, September 13, 2011, in her home.  She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Rene R. Gagnon of Oxford who died in 1997.  She is survived by 11 children, Rene R. Gagnon Jr. of Oxford, Ronald J. Gagnon of Oxford, Richard E. Gagnon of Webster, Judith A. Bilodeau of Oxford, Joyce R. Gagnon of Oxford, Julia M. Deloye of Georgia, Russel W. Gagnon of Worcester, Jacqueline D. Fontenot of Florida, Randy J. Gagnon of Oxford, Janine E. Bratton of Louisiana, and Jacinta A. Baxter of CT; thirty-three grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Joan T. Lewis; two brothers, William A. Rochefort and Edmond A. Rochefort; and two sisters, Sister Mary-Ann Beatrice and Josephine Dufresne.  She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late William H. and Marie E. (Dufresne) Rochefort, and lived most of her life in Oxford.

     Mrs. Gagnon was a member of St. Roch’s Church in Oxford and was a former organist for the church.

     A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2011, at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St., Oxford.  Friends are respectfully requested to meet directly at church.  Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.  There are no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Roch’s Church, 334 Main St., Oxford, MA  01540.  Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is directing the arrangements.
