Subscription Update Obituary

     Theresa L. (O’Malley) Pepin, 79, of Worcester, died in her home, Friday, November 2nd, in the loving care of her family, after a long battle with lung cancer. Her beloved husband of 53 years, Gerald A. Pepin died in 2000.

     She leaves 2 sons, Joseph D. Pepin of Medway and Richard Pepin of Auburn; 5 daughters, Faye Mudge of Milford, NH, Elizabeth Zebranek of Orlando, FL; Ava M. Bennett of West Palm Beach, FL, Jeanette A. Gosler of Worcester and Gloria D’Olimpio of Auburn; 3 sisters, Agnes Wolons of Florida, Virginia Moloney of Worcester and Dorothy Gregoire of Holland; 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her son, Edward D. Pepin, a brother, Martin J. O’Malley and a sister, Margaret E. Logan predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Martin F. and Elizabeth J. (Deignan) O’Malley and dedicated her life to taking care of her husband and eight children. Mrs. Pepin was a 1946 graduate of Commerce High School and had been employed by Jewish Family Services as a homemaker for 13 years. She was a lifetime member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and enjoyed baking, doing puzzles, crocheting, traveling on trains, taking bus tours and going camping.

     The funeral is Tuesday, November 6th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Monday November 5th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
