Therese L. (Boisvert) Hopper, 87, of Worcester, died Sunday, January 15, 2012 at UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester.
     Her husband, Nelson J. Hopper, died in 1982. She leaves five sons, Terrence N. Hopper of Florida, Norman Hopper and his wife Bertha of Marlborough, Nelson “Micky” Hopper and his girlfriend Janet Royal, Brian A. Hopper and Kenneth E. Hopper, all of Worcester; a sister, Jeannette Lamy of Westford; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant son Roland, three brothers and three sisters. She was born in Putnam, CT, daughter of Edward and Alice (Dumont) Boisvert, and has lived in Worcester since 1958.
     Therese was a nurse’s aide at the Hermitage Nursing Home and other nursing homes in Worcester for 28 years.
     The funeral will be held Friday, January 20 from Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave., with a Mass at 10:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant St, Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 19 from 4pm-7pm at the funeral home.
