Subscription Update Obituary

     Theodore F. Shea, 81, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 in UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus. His wife, Dorothy (Johnson) Shea died in 1992. He leaves his daughter and son-in-law, Linda E. and Gary Graves of New Hampshire; son and daughter-in-law, Steven E. and Carol Shea of FL; sister, Patricia Austen; and two grandchildren, Melissa Lynn Graves and Timothy David Shea.
     He was born in Worcester, son of Marion (Newman) and Dr. Edward S. Ramsdell. After graduation from high school, Ted enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served for 12 years. After his honorable discharge, he worked as a salesman in the graphic arts business. He was a Freemason and a member of the 8-point Rifle Gun Club in Sterling. He was an active member of St. Michael’s-on-the-Heights Episcopal Church of Worcester. Ted enjoyed woodworking, watching westerns, fly-fishing, and camping. He was a friendly man with a great sense of humor.
     Calling hours will be at Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln Street Worcester on Wed., Feb. 22, from 4-7 pm. The funeral service will be at St. Michael’s-on-the-Heights, 340 Burncoat St Worcester on Thurs., Feb. 23 at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Flowers may be sent.
