Stephen R. Mazzola, Jr., 87, of West Falmouth and Naples, Florida, formerly of Worcester, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024, in the Physicians Regional Medical Center in Naples.

Stephen is survived by his loving wife of sixty-five years, Doris E. (Walden) Mazzola; a daughter, Karen Corcoran and her husband Timothy of Grafton, Mark Mazzola and his wife Bethanne of Upton, and Michael Mazzola and his wife Gloria Mazzola of Grafton; a brother, Richard Mazzola; his niece Lisa Mazzola and nephew Richard Mazzola Jr.;  seven grandchildren, Lindsay Mazzola Borges, Nicole Mazzola, Shannon Corcoran, Allison Corcoran, Mikey Mazzola, Scott Miller, and Devan Miller; and a great granddaughter, Norah Gill.  Stephen was born in Worcester, son of the late Stephen R. and Marie (Giaquinto) Mazzola.  He graduated from Worcester Boys Trades High School and later served his nation proudly in the United States Army.

Stephen operated Stephen Mazzola’s Automotive Service in Worcester for many years before retiring.  He enjoyed most anything that involved cars from auto racing and restoration to hot rod building and car shows.  He was talented in many ways as was demonstrated in his home building skills and precise target shooting.  The Mazzola’s enjoyed traveling the county in their motorhome and spending time at their winter home in Naples, Florida.

Stephen will be remembered for his willingness to help anyone with any project, never asking or expecting anything in return.  He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
