Subscription Update Obituary

     Stephen A. MacConnell, 54, of Rochdale, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday December 4, 2010.

     He is survived by his wife Deborah (Speechley) MacConnell, two daughters, Heather Johnson of Auburn, and Stephanie Parke of Sturbridge; 7 grandchildren; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred and Marie (Cross) MacConnell, of Westborough, a sister, Ann Lister of Martha's Vineyard, and a brother, James MacConnell of Allentown, PA, as well as several nieces and nephews.

     He was born in Worcester. Steve worked for many years at the Morgan Construction Company, now Siemens's Corporation, where he held the position of International Logistics Manager.

     Mr. MacConnell enjoyed riding motorcycles, skiing and was an avid Patriots fan. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family, and living life to the fullest.

     Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from 5-8 PM on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St. Auburn. His funeral will be held Wednesday, December 8th with a service at 11:00 AM in the Trinity Lutheran Church, 73 Lancaster St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park.

     In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society , 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
