Subscription Update Obituary

   Stella M. (Couture) Boucher, 89, of Worcester, passed away peacefully, Sunday, July 16th, in her home, surrounded by her family. Stella's husband, Joseph E. Boucher passed away in 1987.

   Stella is survived by her four sons, Joseph N. Boucher and his wife Jacqueline, Paul E. Boucher and his partner Carol Cote, all of Worcester; Gerard J. Boucher and his wife Margaret of Vista, California, Daniel A. Boucher and his wife Carol of Mission Viejo, California; a brother, Gerard Couture of Shrewsbury; two sisters, Magella Tauras of Worcester and Bella Dumont of Douglas; eleven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Stella was born in Worcester, the daughter of Joseph L. and Eva M. Couture. She graduated from Commerce High and has lived here all her life. Stella was a member of Notre Dame-St Joseph parish.

   The funeral will be held Wednesday, July 19th from the The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., with a mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Hamilton St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Friends and relatives may visit with the family from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 18th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, 01608.
