Stanley Green, 88, of Worcester died Sunday, November 11th in his home. His wife of 47 years, Bernice F. (Curtin) Green, died in 1994. He leaves several nephews and nieces including George H. Green of Tewksbury and Barbara Benditzky of Orcutt, CA; and several grandnephews and grandnieces. His brother, George Green, 3 nephews, Stanley, Arthur and Phillip Green and a niece Muriel Barber predeceased him. He was born in Portsmouth, NH the son of George and Frances (Dunbreck) Green. Mr. Green graduated from Bentley School of Business and was a self-employed accountant for many years. He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran and enjoyed reading, playing cards, traveling and visiting his many nephews and nieces. The funeral is Wednesday, November 14th with a service at 10:00 AM in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, November 13th from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
