Subscription Update Obituary

     Shirley A. (Reed) Boucher, 76, died on Saturday, September 28, 2013, in Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, Northbridge, after a long illness.

     She leaves three children: Daniel J. Boucher of Southbridge, Donna M. Menard of Cedar Creek, TX, and Robin A. Dick of Whitinsville; three grandchildren; a great granddaughter; two sisters: Marie Laird of North Brookfield and Jean Reed of Worcester; nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, Frank W. and Cathrine M. (Conley) Reed, she was also predeceased by four sons: Ronald J. Boucher, Keith W. Boucher, Noel Boucher III, and Kevin Boucher, and a brother, Ronald Reed.

     Born in Worcester on January 27, 1937, Mrs. Boucher lived there for many years; she also lived in Oxford and Blackstone before moving to Northbridge. She was a former member of St. Roch’s Catholic Parish, Oxford. She enjoyed homemaking, baking, crafts, bingo and the company of family and friends.

     Her funeral will be Friday, October 4, from Turgeon Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Millbury, with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. in St. Brigid Catholic Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A visiting hour at the funeral home will be Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M.
