Subscription Update Obituary

   Sheryl A. (Tracy) Beleckis, 36, of Boylston, passed away, Monday, August 21, 2006, in Dana Farber/Brigham & Women’s Cancer Center, Boston, after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves her loving husband of 14 years, Peter P. Beleckis. She was the daughter of the late Carol Ann (Chamberlin) Tracy. She also leaves her loving parents, Victor and Priscilla Tracy of Auburn; her brother, Charles Kittredge of Millbury; two sisters, Christine Painchud of Dudley and Laurie Lynn Tracy of Limington, Maine; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Sheryl was born in Worcester, and grew up in Shrewsbury; she graduated from Shrewsbury High School, and from Salter’s Secretarial School.

   She worked at Columbia Technical Services, having previously working for Sodexo Marriott. Sheryl played softball and volley ball in the Sepracor League, and also played in the Worcester Dart League. She enjoyed camping, swimming, the beach, the White Mountains, and doing crafts. She was most happy surrounded by family, friends, and her two cats.

   A funeral for her will be held Saturday, August 26, from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, with a service at 10 a.m., in All Saints Episcopal Church, 10 Irving Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held Friday, August 25, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, Brookline, MA 02445-7226, attn: Contribution Services.
