Sharon R. (Compeau) Joyce, 59 passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010 in her residence surrounded by her loving family.

    She leaves her husband of 39 years, James Joyce, Sr.; her mother, Rosemary G. (Reilly) Patchen of Watertown, NY; her stepfather, Virgal Patchen of Clyde, NY; two sons, James Joyce Jr. & his wife Danielle of Spencer & Jason Joyce & his wife Elizabeth of Waterville, ME; a daughter, Tina Bateman and her husband Larry of West Brookfield; two bothers, Marty Patchen of Evan Mills, NY & Bob Compeau of Watertown, NY; two sisters, Sue Patchen of Clyde, NY & Stacey Compeau of Watertown, NY; 10 grandchildren, Julia, James, Aiden, Alyssa, Kyra, Shianne, Melanie, Christopher, Benjamin & Megan.

    Sharon worked at the Fair in Spencer for several years and later for Klem’s as manager of the Toy Department for over 10 years. She was a very active member of the East Brookfield Baptist Church where she was a greeter for many years. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.

    Relatives & friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, July 19, 2010 from 5-8PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home, Rte 9/Old West Brookfield Rd., Brookfield. The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 1:00PM in the East Brookfield Baptist Church, 262 Main St., E. Brookfield. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
