Sharon M. (McManus) Snow, 56, of Worcester died in her home on Tuesday, August 18th surrounded by her loving family after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 23 years, Jeff Snow; three daughters, Kimberly A. Medina and her husband Leonardo, Katelyn S. Snow and Courtney L. Snow and her fiancé Ryan McCabe all of Worcester; a brother, John B. “Jack” McManus III of Worcester; three sisters, Pamela Hultquist, Deborah Fahlbeck and Catherine Joseph all of Worcester; 5 grandchildren, Kayla, Gianna, Rachael, Ryan and Sarah and was expecting her sixth grandchild. She also leaves a cousin, Sonny Jankowski, a sister in-law, Cindy Montros of Worcester, and many nephews and nieces. Sharon was born in Worcester daughter of the late John B. McManus Jr. and Ruth (Holt) McManus.
Mrs. Snow worked for the City of Worcester Public Schools as a secretary for 22 years at both Harlow Street School and Lincoln Street School and previously worked for both Commerce Bank and Peoples Bank. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church where she was a secretary for the Women’s Guild and volunteered at the church as a Eucharistic Minister, Lector and a CCD Teacher. Sharon also volunteered her time at the Seven Hills / St. Andrew Bingo and the SERVE Program at St. Andrew the Apostle Church.
She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and also loved reading, doing crafts and most of all enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Friday, August 21st from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St. with a Mass at 10 AM in Saint Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding Street. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are on Thursday, August 20th from 4 to 7 PM in the funeral home.
