Sandra M. (Clarke) Pickett died January 8, 2013 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home. Her husband of 43 years, David G. Pickett, predeceased her in 2008. Sandra is survived by her sister, Susan A. Brick, and her husband, Ronald; her uncle, Clifford A. LaVigne; and three cousins: Kim, Robin, and Debbie. She also leaves a childhood friend, Joan M. Talbot; a friend of many years, Jean Cronin; and close friends, Chris and Jenn Ferron.
     Sandra was born in Worcester, daughter of Ingeborg “Bobbie” (Swanberg) and Carl P. Clarke. She graduated from North High School and earned an Associate of Science degree from Becker College. She was employed for many years by New England Telephone Company and AT&T before being certified as an ophthalmology assistant. She used these skills at Fallon Clinic.
     Sandra’s family extends a sincere thank you to Dr. Wendy Bergman and her staff, Carline of Metro-West, Dr. Charles Mills and all the staff and volunteers at Rose Monahan Hospice Home for their compassionate care.
     A graveside service will be held at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave., Paxton, Monday, Jan. 14, at 10am. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street is directing arrangements.
