Subscription Update Obituary

   Sandra (Mellor) Lindsay, 69, of 11 Broadview Ave., Uncasville, died Monday morning at Backus Hospital. Born in Warren, MA on September 14, 1938, she is the daughter of Mildred (LaFreniere) Mellor of Worcester, MA, and the late Howard Mellor.

   She had worked for over 30 years in the health field as a certified nurses assistant at Worcester City Hospital, Uncas on Thames in Norwich, and Seaside in Waterford.

   Surviving besides her mother are four daughters, Judith A. Paige of Worcester, MA, Evelyn M. Lindsay of Shrewsbury, MA, Penny L. Worcester of Uncasville, CT, and Patricia A. Morales of Worcester, MA; one son, John G. Lacerte of Charlton, MA; two sisters, Evelyn Giguere of Worcester, MA, and Linda Langevin of Florida; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Also her longtime friend Betty Kennerson of Uncasville as well as many close and loving friends. She was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Parker and three brothers, Fredrick, Edward, and Benjamin Mellor.

   Graveside services will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 11 a.m at Worcester County Memorial Park Cemetry, Richards Ave., Paxton, MA. There is no visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Hospice of S.E. CT., 227 Dunham St., Norwich, Ct. 06360. Arrangements by Labenski Funeral Home.
