Subscription Update Obituary

     Sandra A. (Larson) DeLoriea, 59, of Rutland passed away at home on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 after a battle with cancer, with her adoring husband by her side.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, William DeLoriea; two daughters, Leighann Farmer and her husband, Jeff of North Brunswick, NJ, and Nicole Twomey and her husband, Ryan of Dedham; two granddaughters, who meant the world to her, Kyla and Kaylin Farmer both of North Brunswick, NJ; two sisters, Linda Dillon of Sturbridge and Cindy Sedaras of Great Barrington; she is also survived by nephews and nieces.

Sandy was born in Worcester on July 18, 1958 to Arthur and Laura Larson. She graduated from David Hale Fanning Girls Trade School in Worcester in 1976. She lived in Worcester until 1996 when she moved to Rutland. Sandy enjoyed spending time traveling and being with friends and family, especially her granddaughters.

Relatives and friends are invited to join Sandy’s family from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, November 20, at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A funeral service honoring her life will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 21 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park Cemetery in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to The National Kidney Fund, Finance Department, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016 and The Lung Cancer Research Foundation, 155 East 55th Street, Suite 6H, New York, NY 10022.
