Sally Mae Kennedy, 73, of Bay Path Road, Spencer, passed away with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. Born in Presque Isle Maine, Sally was the daughter of Wallace Cray and Madeline (Mcbride) Cray. She was the wife of the late Joseph Edward Kennedy who passed in 1996.
     She leaves her son, Joseph Wallace Kennedy & wife Donna of Spencer; her granddaughter, Julie Ann Kennedy; great grandson, Joseph Edward Kennedy; great granddaughter Brandi Mae Kennedy all of Spencer; step-grandson Marc Bennett of Worcester; a sister Susan Harris of Exeter, NH; many nieces and nephews.
     She is predeceased by her brother, Junior Cray, Christine Sharp and Jean Harding.
She graduated from Mapleton High School in Maine.
     Sally worked for several years as the dispatcher for the Spencer Police Department and later continued working for the town as Assistant Tax Collector at the town hall for over 20 years. She was a member of the Womans Auxillary for a few years.
     She loved the casino, Red Sox, dining out, Bingo and spending time with her family.
     The funeral will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in Pillsbury Funeral Home, 163 Main St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
