Ruth V. (Lundstrom) Gaboury, 80, of 65 Catharine St. died peacefully on Wednesday Jan. 24 in UMass. Hospital. Her husband, Ernest R. Gaboury died in 1995.

She leaves a son, David E. and his wife Peggy Gaboury; a daughter, Diane R. and her husband Richard George, all of Worcester; 4 grandsons, David Jr., Adam, Matthew, and Nicholas; nephews; nieces; pet companions, Brittany, Tiffany; and many other loving animals. Ruth loved all animals and birds but the cardinal was her favorite bird.

She was predeceased by her brother Lawrence Lundstrom.

Born in Worcester, daughter of Ernest R. and Hilda M. (Hendrickson) Lundstrom, she graduated from Commerce High School class of 1945 and worked at City Hospital. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Scandanavian Athletic Club, and was a Breast Cancer Survivor.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m Monday January 29 in CASWELL-KING FUNERAL HOME, 474 Grove St., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester Co. Memorial Park.
