Subscription Update Obituary

   Ruth J. (Daigneault) McKinney, 69, of 3 Euclid Ave., died Tuesday in St. Vincent Hosptial.

   She leaves her husband of 31 years, Leon E. “Sonny” McKinney; five sons, John, Leon, Randy and Richard Burbo, all of Worcester and Alan McKinney of Northbridge; seven daughters, Ruth Rivard, Jean Ortiz, Debra Burbo, Mildred Courtney, Wendy Romeo and Bonnie Burbo, all of Worcester and Lorna Liberty of Dudley; a brother, Ronald Daigneault of Worcester; a sister, Norma Richards of Marino Valley, Calif.; 29 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces.  Four sons, all of Worcester, predeceased her, Levi Burbo died in 1948; Glenn McKinney died in 1967, Bernard Burbo died in 1976, and William Burbo died 1989.  Two daughters, both of Worcester, predeceased her, Judith Burbo died in 1947 and Joyce Oduro died in 1988.  Born in Leicester, daughter of Leon F. and Mildred (Lovely) Daigneault, she lived most of her life in Worcester.  She graduated from Commerce High School. 

   Mrs. McKinney was a member of St. John’s Church.  She was an enthusiastic bingo player.

   The funeral will be held Saturday from Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. John’s Church, 40 Temple St.  Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.  Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
