Ruth G. (Peabody) Field, 87, died Sunday, December 9, 2007, in Saint Vincent Hospital. She was predeceased by husbands Roy Niford and Clarence Field. She leaves a son, Roy S. Niford, and two daughters, Susan Niford and Lynda Colaianni—all of Worcester. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Fred W. and Alice (Duby) Peabody. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 12, at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
