Subscription Update Obituary

    Ruth E. Orne, 63, of Worcester, died Monday, May 18th in her home. She leaves two daughters, LeeAnn Roy and her husband Paul of Northborough and Sharon L. Wall of Indiana; her brother, Robert and his wife Mary Proal of Auburn; her sister, Nancy Loftus and her husband Francis of Auburn; seven grandchildren, Renee, Stephen, Alex, Diana, Vanessa, Reece and Reagan; and several nieces and nephews. Her sister, Carol A. Parslow, died in 2008.

    Ms. Orne was born in Worcester, the daughter of Andrew and Jane (Tucker) Proal. She was employed by various schools in the Worcester School system as a teacher's aide until her retirement in 2006. Ms. Orne was a member of the Sterling Country Club and enjoyed golfing.

    The funeral is Friday, May 22nd with a service at 10:00 A.M. in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, May 21st in the funeral home.
