Ruth A. (Gedraitis) Henry, 88, of Holden, formerly of Auburn died Monday in UMass Memorial Medical Center, 119 Belmont St. Worcester, after an illness.
Her husband John Henry died in 1968. She leaves her sister, Irene Mason of Auburn, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles and Anthony Gedraitis, and a sister Elizabeth Maxwell.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Kasekavitch) Gedraitis. She graduated from Auburn High School.
She had previously worked for Wyman Gordon, and Fortin's Market.
She enjoyed reading and sewing. She was a former member of St. Georges Church in Holden. A memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
The Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn is assisting with the arrangements.
